Belinda

Belinda grew up in Brisbane’s western suburbs, riding horses at the local pony club in Kenmore, where she first met children who attended BIS in the 1980s. Over the years, she has completed a Bachelor of Science majoring in Psychology and a Master of Teaching (Primary).

Belinda is a proud parent of four children — one daughter and three sons — and enjoys spending time with her family and two dogs, Ralph and Rosie. She loves travelling, learning about different cultures and histories, painting, hiking in nature, gardening, and reading. You may also spot her at The Gabba supporting the Brisbane Lions (AFL) or the Brisbane Heat (cricket).

Across more than twenty years in education, Belinda has developed extensive experience supporting and differentiating learning for children with additional needs across a range of settings, including mainstream and specialist classrooms. She is currently studying Art Therapy, combining her passion for painting with her love of teaching so students can use art as a powerful tool for relaxation, expression, and wellbeing.

Belinda is passionate about helping students develop confidence, a love of learning, and the belief that they can reach their full potential.
