Beth Matthews
Learning and Wellbeing Teacher
Beth Matthews has been a beloved member of the Pullenvale community for over 30 years, where she lives with her husband, two children, and an impressive array of pets, including five horses, three cats, two dogs, and a turtle! A passionate lifelong learner, Beth loves reading, spending time with family and friends, and exploring the world through travel. Her enthusiasm for learning extends to her most recent studies to become an Equine Assisted Learning facilitator.
With over 40 years of experience as an educator, Beth brings a wealth of expertise in Inclusive Education, having worked extensively with diverse learners from early childhood through to Year 12. Her career accomplishments include significant leadership roles, such as Director of Inclusive Education and Coordinator of Learning Enhancement across various schools. Beth is well-versed in aligning the Australian Curriculum with differentiated learning strategies to support students’ unique needs and has an exceptional understanding of the Disability Discrimination Act and the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD) framework. Throughout her career, Beth has demonstrated a talent for building strong partnerships with families and teachers, fostering inclusive, supportive environments that allow all students to thrive.
