Wellbeing and Enrichment
Carlie has been at BIS for over 15 years in various capacities as a parent, board member and staff member. Carlie has done it all! Nowadays you will find her supporting each and every student at BIS socially, emotionally and academically, through our enrichment program. Carlie has a strong background in Non-Violent Communication which assists her with her role.
Carlie herself loves crafts, building and plants, and keenly contributes to projects around the school with her interests.
Carlie’s two children have both graduated from BIS, with one now pursuing a dual degree in Archaeology and Anthropology and her second son is currently in Year 12 at Indooroopilly State High School and heavily involved as a school leader. He is hoping to pursue a career in politics and business.
Carlie’s fur child Socrates, often visits and shares his wisdom with children, although it is sometimes difficult to understand him through his moustache.
