Meredith

Meredith has spent two decades supporting students and classrooms in Brisbane’s western suburbs.

Meredith was born in Papua New Guinea, where she spent the first ten years of her life. She was then home schooled for primary school before attending a small international high school. Meredith has travelled widely and has also lived in the United States, spending time in Texas, Indiana, and Tennessee.

Meredith completed a Bachelor of Education at Griffith University and spent eight years as the Director of a community kindergarten preschool. She later stepped away from this role to raise her two sons and has since spent the past two decades working as a teacher aide and school librarian at another small local school.

Meredith enjoys reading and all things creative. The beach is her happy place, and she hopes to live by the ocean one day. She loves the strong sense of community at BIS and the immediate feeling of belonging it brings.
