Jess has always held a passion for education and embarked on the journey of a Bachelor of Education (Special Education) but life got in the way and took her on a different journey managing risk and projects for an airport security company nationally.

During this time she wore a lot of different hats but always felt like something was missing and after leaving her tenure, again sought out her passion for education in a school and philosophy she believed in, finding BIS.

"BIS values the things that I found most supportive during my own personal learning journey, but explicitly supports social and emotional growth, something that I wish I would have had the chance to experience. It is such a privilege and joy to spend my time with these amazing and confident little people every day and even though my formal schooling has finished, I am learning something new every day from our community."
