Come and see the difference

Many locals drive past the Brisbane Independent School driveway every day on Moggill Road. “If you have found yourself zooming past the sign on Moggill Road and always wondered what’s inside, pop on in and explore the campus yourself!” says Principal Lachlyn Bowie.

This 18th of May the school is welcoming the local community, past, present and future families and students to join them in a festival inspired atmosphere at its Open Day.

This Open Day at Brisbane Independent School everyone is welcome to come and explore the beautiful, leafy grounds and head inside to see all the various spaces; the Library, Music and Drama Room, the Science, Technology, Kitchen and Arts Lab, the Workshop, the classrooms and to join in or watch the Tai Chi and Ju Jitsu sessions in the open air hall.

There will be plenty of activities happening throughout the day including face painting, a scavenger hunt, craft activities and giant lawn games.

A Brisbane Independent School Open Day is frequently unique amongst open days, as visitors get to interact with current students and alumni of all ages. Some of our current students will also be operating a few activities including the ‘Curlew Cafe’ where you can purchase cakes, desserts and home made coffee.
